E&C LaRue Tactical PredatOBR AEG Ultra Line Gel Blaster

E&C LaRue Tactical PredatOBR AEG Ultra Line Gel Blaster

Inspired by the 18-inch LaRue Tactical PredatOBR 7.62 seen in The Fate of the Furious, the PredatOBR Gel Blaster is a great choice for movie fans and DMR collectors.

The E&C LaRue Tactical PredatOBR AEG Ultra Line Gel Blaster combines the distinctive appearance of a modern 7.62 mm designated marksman rifle with upgraded electric gel blaster internals. Inspired by the LaRue Tactical PredatOBR platform, this full-metal replica delivers an impressive combination of realistic styling, solid construction and electronic gearbox control.

Built around E&C’s reinforced Version 2.5 metal gearbox, the PredatOBR Ultra Line features steel gears, CNC-machined internal components and a programmable ESHOOTER V2 Basic MOSFET. Consequently, it offers an appealing foundation for enthusiasts seeking a modern AR-10-style gel blaster.

The original LaRue Tactical PredatOBR 7.62 combines the appearance of a precision rifle with a distinctive modern sporting rifle design. E&C recreates these features through its elongated handguard, full-metal construction and adjustable rear stock. Furthermore, the handguard features characteristic elongated cut-outs, which give the PredatOBR its recognisable appearance. Removable Picatinny rail sections along the sides and underside provide additional mounting positions for compatible accessories.

The aluminium-alloy receiver and external components give the gel blaster a substantial feel. Meanwhile, the polymer pistol grip and adjustable buttstock provide familiar ergonomics. Its metal M110-style magazine also reinforces the appearance of the larger-calibre AR-10 and SR-25 rifle family.

For collectors, the PredatOBR design offers another point of interest. The original rifle platform appeared in the 2017 action film The Fate of the Furious, making this E&C model particularly appealing to movie-inspired replica enthusiasts.

Reinforced E&C V2.5 Metal Gearbox

At the heart of the E&C PredatOBR Ultra Line Gel Blaster sits a reinforced Version 2.5 metal gearbox.

Unlike a conventional V2 gearbox, the V2.5 configuration uses an extended gearbox and cylinder arrangement associated with larger AR-10 and SR-25-style platforms.

E&C equips this model with several upgraded internal components:

• Reinforced Version 2.5 metal gearbox shell
• Durable steel gearbox gears
• Full-steel-tooth piston
• CNC-machined copper cylinder head
• CNC 7075 aluminium-alloy piston head
• Stainless steel cylinder
• CNC 7075 aluminium-alloy nozzle
• Harris Bipod

Together, these components form the mechanical foundation of the PredatOBR’s electric drive system.

Additionally, the extended V2.5 gearbox architecture makes this model particularly interesting to enthusiasts familiar with SR-25-style AEG platforms.

The E&C LaRue Tactical PredatOBR AEG Ultra Line Gel Blaster brings together authentic 7.62-style DMR aesthetics, full-metal construction and a reinforced V2.5 gearbox with electronic MOSFET control.

For enthusiasts seeking an imposing AR-10-style gel blaster with distinctive LaRue-inspired styling, the EC-909-U makes an impressive addition to any collection.

We also recommend the Black Label Balanced Battery Charger.

Also recommended are either of the two Ultra Hard Gels to run with this Blaster. Though, in our opinion, the AKA Tenacity will give a slightly better performance.
