Hydra Mount is the first dual optic mount designed for end-users that offers a 2.91” Optic Centreline for faster target ID, regardless of gear/ equipment obstructions, i.e.. Safety Glasses or Full face masks/ EarPro/ Comms headsets, Gas masks/ CBRN, and Night vision use.

The addition of the higher optic mount allows for a more athletic posture and “Heads up” attitude that allows the end-users to maintain a vertical spine which translates to body armour or “presenting plates” to the threat. This “Heads up” style allows for faster visual identification speed and increased situational awareness.

The unique and patented design offers an elevated MIL-STD-1913, or Picatinny, platform for direct attachment of accessories such as lights, optics and aiming devices. Or can be used as a dual mount, where both items need to mount at the same level, such as a Holosight and magnifier. It’s perfect for the super short PDW/SMG platforms where rail space is limited but the need of mounting a light and laser is still critical. The pass-through on the neck allows for cable management or iron sight passthrough.

There is no longer a need to compromise your grip because of equipment or have to relocate your hands because of limited rail space. We achieve this by elevating accessories like the light or laser off the Picatinny and closer to the red dot optic. This alleviates obscuration and brings the weight to the centre of the platform over the magazine well.
