The Colt from Supernatural

The Colt from Supernatural

The Colt from Supernatural is inspired by one of the most important supernatural weapons Sam and Dean Winchester encounter. With its distinctive Old West revolver styling and elaborate detailing, The Colt became an instantly recognisable artefact for fans of the long-running series.

According to the show’s lore, legendary gunsmith and hunter Samuel Colt created the weapon in 1835, during the appearance of Halley’s Comet. He also produced thirteen special bullets for it, and hunters came to believe that the combination could kill almost any supernatural creature.

The Colt first becomes central to the Winchester story when John Winchester uses it as a weapon against Azazel, the Yellow-Eyed Demon. As the series progresses, the revolver passes through numerous hands and is used against demons, vampires and other supernatural beings. However, its reputation as an unstoppable weapon eventually proves to have limits: Lucifer reveals that there are five things in Creation that The Colt cannot kill, and that he is one of them.

The weapon also has another significant role in Supernatural mythology. Samuel Colt designed The Colt to function as a key for the Devil’s Gate in Wyoming, linking the weapon directly to the elaborate supernatural defences he constructed around the gate.

This JT3032 cosplay replica is constructed from resin and measures approximately 32cm long by 11.5cm high. Consequently, it makes an eye-catching addition to Winchester cosplay, supernatural-themed photography or a dedicated Supernatural memorabilia display.

Please note: this is a Cosplay Replica or display piece. It has no moving parts and doesn’t function in any way like a revolver would; it is merely a gorgeous-looking model.

The Colt from Supernatural combines one of the series’ most recognisable prop designs with some of its most important mythology. Its 32cm size, detailed resin construction and unmistakable Winchester connection make it particularly suited to cosplay, photography and Supernatural themed displays.
