The AceTech AURAMIST Smoking Muzzle Effect Tracer Unit – Black takes muzzle-mounted lighting effects well beyond a conventional tracer unit. Combining tracer illumination, simulated muzzle flash and a synchronised water-mist system to mimic a smoking muzzle, the AURAMIST produces a highly visible muzzle effect designed for low-light use, indoor play, display builds, photography and video.

Instead of relying on traditional oil-based smoke fluid, the AURAMIST uses water to generate a fine mist. High-output lighting then illuminates this mist as the blaster fires, creating a dramatic smoke-and-flash style effect at the muzzle. Because the system uses water for its standard mist operation, it avoids much of the oily residue associated with conventional smoke-effect systems.

Three separate functions form the heart of the AURAMIST: tracer illumination, simulated muzzle flash and water mist (smoking Muzzle effect). Seven selectable combinations allow these effects to operate individually or together, giving the user considerably more control over the visual effect than a standard tracer unit.

The internal water reservoir holds approximately 4.2 ml, while the standalone mist function can operate for approximately 5–10 minutes. After use, a dedicated approximately 30-second Fan Assist Dry Mode helps remove remaining moisture from the internal mist system.

Power comes from a built-in rechargeable battery with convenient USB-C charging. ACETECH states that the system can provide up to approximately 20,000 flashes per charge, while an automatic sleep function activates after around five minutes of inactivity to help conserve power.

For installation, the AURAMIST uses the widely adopted 14mm CCW negative thread. The approximately 140mm long outer housing measures roughly 37.6mm in diameter.

For Gel Blaster customers, however, projectile compatibility requires special attention. ACETECH currently markets the AURAMIST around its original 6mm tracer application, and published product information does not establish compatibility between its tracer sensor and normal water gel balls. Therefore, customers should confirm Gel Ball compatibility before relying on the tracer illumination function.

Even where tracer illumination cannot be used, the AURAMIST’s mist and simulated muzzle-flash effects remain its most distinctive features, making it an interesting option for compatible Gel Blaster display builds and visual-effect setups.
