Within the film, the Damascus Blade is an ancient weapon created using the lost metallurgy of the URM – United Republic of Mars before the Fall. Zapan initially possesses the blade and describes its fictional edge as capable of slicing through armour. Alita later claims the weapon and makes it one of her most recognisable pieces of equipment.

This replica measures approximately 90 cm overall and uses PU foam construction with internal reinforcement. As a result, it provides the visual impact of Alita’s blade while remaining considerably lighter than metal display replicas. The reinforced internal structure also helps support the long, curved prop during cosplay, photography and display.

The movie design features flowing curves and distinctive URM techno-pattern detailing, closely associated with the advanced Martian technology seen throughout Alita: Battle Angel. Weta Workshop describes the screen design as featuring the characteristic technological patterning of the lost URM Technarchy.
