The HK416 improvements over other HK416 variants out in the market is firstly the first fully built metal HK416, bolt release, Hopup built-in the flash hider.
Also have the dummy gas blowback system built in and removable iron flip up sight and a metal mag.
Shoots around 290-310 fps.

Awesome blaster, field ready straight out of the box. It’s heavier and feels solid all the way down from tip to stock. Love the laser engraved details and everything on the blaster feels quality. The flash hider/hopup is good quality and works well, I will ultimately look to put something like a Muzzletek or Range warrior for tool-less adjustment, but the stock unit performs fine. Only things worth mentioning, are from the pics above, you will get different sights out of the box, they are static front and rear iron sights. Secondly the picture has it as ambidextrous fire select and mag release. The unit I received did not have this, but personally for me that’s fine as I wanted one without ambi. Lastly, while it doesn’t say above, other websites report the DB HK416 as being compatible with Gen8 mags, again the blaster I received will not fit Gen8 Mags, either original M4A1/SCAR V2 or aftermarket scout mags. I also tried CYMA metal and P MAG’s without success. So if you are buying for a game, don’t forget to grab an extra couple mags. The mag it does come with is solid, and still holds a decent amount of gels, although it does rattle a little in the blaster, but not enough to be an issue. As noted above, does not come with battery, so you will need a battery with Mini Tamiya connector. Comes with a decent metal gearbox so 11v will be fine. I think that’s it, in summary, very happy with the blaster, and it should be a while before I feel the need to do anything other than cosmetic mods 🙂
