AZTECH Xtreme Nylon Polymer Piston with CNC Head and Rack

This piston is designed to be the ultimate choice for AEG enthusiasts, ticking every box for performance and reliability.

Crafted from custom-made, fibre-reinforced PA66 Polyamide (Nylon), this lightweight piston features a CNC Aluminium head and a CNC Steel cut rack. It is engineered with large windows in low-stress areas to reduce weight, keeping the total weight under 27.5 grams, making it DSG and high rate of fire friendly, right out of the box.

Aztech have maximized the engineering potential of this piston. The material at the highest stress point—the back of the piston bridge—has been nearly doubled, providing 80% more support for the pick-up tooth compared to other pistons we’ve tested. For the rack, we chose Cr12MoV hardened steel, the strongest metal available, to ensure maximum durability and breaking strength. Additionally, we incorporated every possible piston head feature to create the ultimate piston.

The main properties of PA66 Reinforced Nylon include:

• High strength and stiffness at high temperatures
• Extreme lightweight design
• Good impact strength, even at low temperatures
• Excellent flow properties for flawless injection moulding with minimal risk of air bubbles
• Good abrasion and wear resistance
• Excellent resistance to oil and solvents
• Good fatigue resistance

For high-performance builds, it is highly recommended to bond the steel rack to the piston body. We suggest using JB Weld Original Steel Reinforced Epoxy for the strongest bond possible, or at the very least, Gorilla Grip 2-part araldite epoxy
