The CYMA M052 40mm Grenade Launcher combines a compact pistol-style layout with solid metal and polymer construction. Designed as a stand-alone launcher, the M052 accepts a single compatible 40mm grenade shell and does not require mounting underneath another blaster.

A large release latch allows the loading tube to open forwards for shell insertion and removal. In addition, side openings make it easy to visually check whether a shell is fitted. The loading tube then locks securely into position when closed.

The M052 also incorporates 20mm accessory rails along both the upper and lower sections. As a result, compatible sights, grips and other suitable accessories can be fitted according to the user’s preferred setup. The pistol grip can also be removed when required.

For added control, CYMA equips the launcher with a trigger-lock safety system. Its straightforward single-shell design keeps operation simple while offering the solid feel associated with its predominantly metal construction.

At approximately 305mm long and 720g, the M052 remains relatively compact while retaining a substantial build. Published specifications vary slightly between suppliers, with measurements around 305–306mm and 715–720g being commonly listed.

For Australian gel ball applications, the launcher can be paired with compatible 40mm gel ball grenade shells, depending on the individual shell design. The grenade or 40mm shell is sold separately.

Compatibility

The CYMA M052 is designed around 40mm Gel Blaster grenade-style cartridges or shells. Multiple specialist retailers identify compatibility with conventional 40mm/M203-style shells, although individual shell dimensions and valve systems can vary.

For gel ball use, select a 40mm shell specifically designed for gel ball or compatible recreational projectile use.
