This is another of the highly anticipated HK offerings, the VP9 SK. The VP designation in the name refers to Volkspistole, which translates to “People’s Pistol”.

This beautifully weighted replica feels great in the hand. Its weight gives it the sense of being something more than just a simple toy, but more of an authentic replica of the real People’s Pistol. The HK VP9 SK is constructed as a metal slide on a polymer lower, with a manual spring, providing the power source. This means the slide needs to be re-racked after each shot, and makes the firing configuration, technically single-shot. And, as a couple of our competitive staff often say, the look of amazement on the face of a player at a Gel Soft skirmish, who has spent thousands on an HPA super gun set up, that shoot 25+ gels per second, at over 300 fps, then you creep up on them and take them out with a single shot from a springer, is priceless. Well, there’s no feeling quiet like that!!!

The HK VP9 SK Blaster is designed to run on either Gel Soft Gel Balls (not included) or red-tipped foam micro Nerf darts, and we found it performs best on Gels and fed well on a wide variety of Gels.

• Single-Shot Pull-Back Type.
• 1:1 Ratio
• Metal Slide and Polymer body
• Spring-fed, single-stack, Magazine (when using Gels)
• Micro darts should be loaded from the barrel end and each slide rack. Darts do not fit in the magazine.
• Magazine Capacity: Approx. 9 to 10 Gel Balls (dependent on Gel brand and variance in grown size)
• Uses 7-8mm Gel Balls (sold Separately) or Micro Nerf Darts (10 qty included)

Performance:

• Up to 130 Feet per Second (When using Gels)
• Up to 15m Firing Distance
• 1 Shot per Pull Back of the Slide, then to load the next gel the slide needs to be racked again.

Remember, one mag is never enough. Why not add a spare mag, or two, to your order and push you cart total, over the free freight threshold. A spare mag, pretty much pays for itself, in saving on the freight.

Grab some Gels, while you’re here. You don’t have to pick these up, like you do the darts.

A really  cool add-on, would be a pistol speed loader, takes all the fiddly-ness out of getting the gels into the Magazine.

Only load Gel Balls into the magazine, DO NOT try to load mini darts into the Magazine, this will damage the gun and magazine. Mini darts should be pushed into the barrel only, in from the front of the pistol muzzle. The image of the TAN version of the VP9 is shown, to illustrate hot to insert the soft darts.

Always read the instruction on the gel packaging, and soak the gels in clean cold water for the specified time. Do not attempt to use Gels, that have not been soaked and have grown to their operational diameter.
