The CowCow Gold Hi-Capa Barrel Housing Chamber – CCT-TMHC-159 is a lightweight CNC-machined 7075 aluminium chamber that can be modified for use as a barrel housing in advanced Hi-Capa Gel Blaster pistol builds.

CowCow originally manufactures this component as its New Gen Hop Up Chamber for Tokyo Marui-spec Hi-Capa 4.3, Hi-Capa 5.1 and 1911 platforms. It features an ultra-lightweight design, redesigned lower chamber support and a double-lock structure. CowCow also specifies compatibility with both plastic and metal slide configurations.

For Gel Blaster applications, however, this is not used as a hop-up chamber. Instead, experienced builders can modify the unit to serve as a lightweight housing for a suitable Gel Blaster inner barrel and bucking.

Its CNC-machined 7075 aluminium construction gives builders a strong housing while keeping weight low. The Gold CCT-TMHC-159 has a reported weight of approximately 13 g and an overall length of approximately 40 mm.

Reducing mass within the pistol’s moving upper assembly can be particularly useful in match-grade and performance-focused Hi-Capa Gel Blaster builds, where builders may be aiming for quicker, more responsive cycling. However, the final result will depend on the complete pistol configuration, component selection and quality of installation.

Important – Modification is Required.

This product is NOT a drop-in Gel Blaster component.

It is supplied in its original CowCow airsoft configuration. To convert it for Gel Blaster use, the chamber must be disassembled and the original airsoft hop-up components, including the adjustment hardware and upper hop-up plate, removed. A compatible Gel Blaster bucking and correctly sized Gel Blaster barrel must then be fitted to create the required barrel housing assembly.

We strongly recommend that this conversion is carried out by an experienced Gel Blaster pistol technician or advanced Hi-Capa builder. Additional fitting or adjustment may also be required depending on the pistol, slide, barrel and internal components being used.

The purpose of this conversion is not to add an airsoft-style hop-up system to the Gel Blaster. The objective is to utilise the CowCow chamber as a lightweight replacement barrel housing in a suitably configured Hi-Capa Gel Blaster build.

For experienced builders chasing a lighter, faster-cycling Hi-Capa Gel Blaster setup, the CowCow CCT-TMHC-159 offers a strong foundation for a custom Gel Blaster barrel assembly. With the correct conversion, bucking and barrel combination, it can form part of a refined match-grade pistol build while keeping unnecessary slide mass to a minimum.
